Marketing is important
The couple decided to hire a family friend realtor to sell their long term home. Unfortunately, the service provided was sub par from everything from advice/returned calls to the marketing where the agent took his own cell phone pictures, wrote poor descriptions, having potential buyers of the house arrive unannounced to the owners and there was no follow up after showings.
Luckily, someone referred them to Wesley after being on the market for three months. Wesley repositioned the listing, had his stager come through, media production, marketed the property well and handled appointments without surprises with follow up.
Wesley ended up selling the house successfully shortly there after.

Sold over asking
These repeat Clients decided to work with Wesley again to sell their condo in Burlington. They had a vision of moving into a different area and needed more space.
After looking at their situation, and the current market, we decided to buy first and found a beautiful townhome for them with more space. Wesley negotiated a great deal, along with many other favourable terms.
It was now time to sell! Wesley had his stager through, media team production happened, excellent mass and targeted marketing, and pricing it strategically to just over what the comparables sold for and we sold 6% over asking with multiple offers. This was also $45,000 over the last comparable unit.
Teams are not always better when it comes to service and experience because typically you will never work with the lead agent with the experience, instead you work with a new agent that has joined the team to get started in the industry. Wesley went against a team in a listing presentation who essentially over promised and under delivered. The Home Owners decided to work with the team that had this listing for 118 days AND made them purchase another property "because they would sell the house quick." The Homeowners closed on their new property and had to carry both properties for some time.. The The Home Owners were very frustrated and called Wesley back.
Wesley saw many deficiencies from the previous agent's listing which would've been correct from the start. He couldn't believe they were put in the situation they were in.. Within 13 days Wesley sold their home.
